Bass-Baritone Frank Ward and Friends

Frank Ward and Friends will be kicking off UA’s Kulas Concert Series.  The program will include Brahms’ “Four Serious Songs” and African American spirituals.

Frank Ward and Friends will be kicking off UA’s Kulas Concert Series.  The program will include Brahms’ “Four Serious Songs” and African American spirituals. Ward is joined by UA faculty Mayumi Kikuchi, Cynthia Cioffari, Jack Harel, Stanislav Golovin, Lindsay Leach-Sparks, Kiirsi Maunula Johnson, and guests Melody Ward and professor emeritus Alan Bodman.  

This concert will be held on Sunday, October 6 at 3 p.m. at the Guzzetta Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.  Donations will be gratefully accepted. For more information, please contact us at 330-972-8301 or concerts@uakron.edu.

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
