Canvas Re-Creation #1 at Summit Artspace on Tusc, Barberton

Take an already-painted canvas and create something new.

Wake up your muse! Pick one of Connie’s already-painted teaching canvases (or bring an old painting of your own) and re-make it into something new and different!  Acrylic paint, charcoal, collage materials and stencils will be used to make the layered painting. Don’t worry about “not being creative”–there are instructions and encouragement at each step.

Experiment and enjoy!   For Adults, Teens, Kids age 9+

Workshop is open to adults, teens and kids 9+.  The cost is $15, all materials included.   Register through the ticket button below.  Payment can be made online or in person the day of the event.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
