One of the most beloved children’s books of all time takes the stage.
Magical Theatre Company, Northeast Ohio’s professional resident and touring theatre for young audiences and families, presents Charlotte’s Web, May 3 – 11. Winner of the Charlotte B. Chorpenning Playwright Award and often listed as one of the most beautiful stories about friendship, Wilbur, Charlotte, Templeton, and Fern will all be there to bring it to life.
Directed by Holly Barkdoll, the talented cast is a company of professional adults with two young actors working side by side with them. Kristin Larsen is in from Chicago to play the title role. She shares the stage with Adam Hoffman, Deb Lemire, Craig Raymaley of Cuyahoga Falls; Amanda Kidd of Kent; and Mark Ross, of Akron. Mallory Dannemiller, a fourth grader at St. Sebastian School, is making her Magical Theatre Company debut playing Fern. Dane Kuzma of Wooster is also making his Magical Theatre debut, playing her brother, Avary.

Public Performances are Friday May 3rd & 10th at 7:30pm; Saturday May 4th at 2:00pm; Sunday May 5th at 2:00pm & 4:30pm; Saturday May 11th at 2:00pm & 4:30pm. Tickets are $15 & $17 per person. Opening Night (Friday May 3rd) tickets are $17 & $19 and include a post-performance reception with wine, cheese, and snacks.
