The instruments of the modern symphonic band —and the vibrant sounds they make —will take center stage when The University of Akron Symphonic Band performs at the Akron Civic Theatre. Under the direction of Dr. Galen S. Karriker, the lively music will include Eugene Bozza’s Children’s Overture and Daniel Kallman’s Yankee Doodling: A Young Person’s Guide to the Concert Band. Other works are sure to inspire the imagination.

Pre-register your school by submitting the form here to Children’s Concert Society. Cost is $5 per student. Limited scholarships are available for students who cannot pay the entire admission fee. Principals, please call our office (330) 972-2504 to discuss scholarship needs.
