Ohio State University Extension and Let’s Grow Akron are offering this FREE six week training for new or established community garden leaders.
Topics covered will include:
- community engagement
- establishing rules, roles, and responsibilities
- land assessment and soil testing
- navigating local regulations
- identifying community assets
- grant writing
- and more!

Upon completion of this program, participants will be eligible to apply for a $500 Neighborfood grant from the Summit Food Coalition to be used for community garden expenses.
