The City of Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department is once again partnering with the amazingly talented youth at Ballet Excel Ohio to offer a FREE Community performance of the ballet called “Happy!”, on Sunday, August 22nd at the Downtown Amphitheater.
“Happy!” is not your typical ballet. This playful piece is performed to string
quartet music with scores from some of the greatest musical artists including
The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Journey, Pharell Williams and more. Choreography
by Tom Gold the finale embodies its song tile of “Happy” leaving audiences with
a smile.
Ballet Excel Ohio is one of the oldest youth ballets in the country. Founded in 1975 by Nan Klinger, it is one of the first youth ballet in the state of Ohio and is one of the 10 oldest in the country.
