Discover local artists and artist organizations within your community while enjoying gallery talks, gallery sketching, plein air painting in the gardens, maker opportunities, live music, a cash bar, a food truck, and more during this free event.

Akron Art Museum has partnered with local artists’ organizations to host a CreativeCONNECT event on August 17, 2023, from 6-9 PM.

Discover local artist organizations within your community and meet local artists while enjoying the galleries and grounds of the Akron Art Museum. The event will include gallery talks, gallery sketching, plein air painting in the gardens, maker opportunities, live music, a cash bar, a food truck, and more! The event is free to attend, registration is requested, and ample parking is available across the street from the venue.

The following artist organizations will be in attendance: Akron Black Artist Guild, Akron Society of Artists, Artists of Rubber City, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, Hudson Society of Artists, Ohio Collage Society, and Women’s Art League.
