The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center Offers Members the Opportunity to Participate in a Juried Entry Exhibition in Seven Art Categories

The members of the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC), 2131 Front Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, have been invited to enter CVAC’s Member Exhibition, to be on display in their gallery from July 27th – August 26th. Holding a yearly member exhibition has been a tradition at CVAC for over 35 years.

This juried entry exhibition will have 7 “Best of” Category winners, 7 People’s Choice individual category winners and up to 14 honorable mentions. Juror Bruce Stebner, President of the Akron Society of Artists, will select a “Best of” Category winner and up to two honorable mentions for each category. A People’s Choice Selection process, starting July 27th, shall dictate a People’s Choice Category winner for each category, to be announced at the end of the Artists Reception on August 13th. This exhibit is free to the public to view. Participation in the People’s Choice voting is free and encouraged to visitors.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
