Design your Dry Point CD

This is a one day workshop where participants learn the process of creating an image on an 8”x10” piece of plexiglass by scratching into the surface with an etching needle.  Unlike the relief class, the plexiglass is then inked up in intaglio, where the lines and scratches will hold ink instead of the high areas.  The plate is then ran through the printing press at a few hundred pounds per square inch and transfer to traditional printing paper.  Class starts at 10:00 a.m., break for lunch (participants pack a lunch) and then work until 4:00 p.m., followed by a quick critique at the end of class.
