Ed Gein Mystery Machine is an indie alternative rock band from Erie, PA. Pocketmouse is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Erie, PA. Human Petting Zoo is an acoustic punk uke bad from Kent, OH. Small Heretic is an acoustic, punk folk artist from Kent, OH. About the venue: Hive Mind’s mission is to provide a community art space in Akron that serves as an all ages venue to showcase music, visual art, film, poetry, and other forms of art. They encourage participation from experimental artists. It also functions as an educational environment for crafting, food preservation, and anything you might be interested in sharing.

PARKING INFO

Guests may park in the large parking lot across the street from our venue. Artists may park in our lot to unload their equipment and/or artwork. Handicapped individuals may also park in our parking lot on the right (North) side of Exchange Street.

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
