Featured Young Artist, Pianist James Wilson, plays for MfTWR

Music from The Western Reserves 36th season ends with Featured Young Artist, James Wilson, piano.

Our 2018-2019 Featured Young Artist, James Wilson began studying piano at age 3! He has performed around the world including Japan, France and Italy. Mr. Wilson was the only American finalist in the international piano competition in France. He has appeared at Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center and now takes our stage. A veteran of regional, national and international piano competitions, Wilson is currently studying with Dr. Alvin Chow, Chair of the piano department at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. This talented young artist was the subject of a program on PBS that highlighted his piano achievements and his recent triumph over Ewing’s Sarcoma. James is a senior at Hudson High School.
