From the films of Wes Anderson to the theme song from Nickelodeon’s Rugrats, Mark Mothersbaugh has composed music for some of our favorite films and television shows. Can local musicians carry the torch when faced with the campy, 1984 Akron-made Kung Fu classic, The Instructor?
Join the Akron Art Museum and the Nightlight for an evening of local film and music featuring a classic Akron film with special effects and music scored by Akron musicians. The screening will include a preview reel of the film with music composed by Mothersbaugh himself—made especially for this event. The screening will follow the museum’s Downtown@Dusk concert with 15 60 75 The Numbers Band.
