Artist Polly Gilmore will make three large glass pieces along with help from AGW glassblowers Sebastian Shepherd and Nate Avery. They will be joined by a live jazz improvisation by local musicians Martyn Flunoy, Ian Early, and Bob Zimmer.

Akron Glass Works presents it’s third
Hot Glass and Live Music Collaborative Performance

Artist Polly Gilmore will make three large glass pieces along with help from AGW glassblowers Sebastian Shepherd and Nate Avery. They will be joined by a live jazz improvisation by local musicians Martyn Flunoy, Ian Early, and Bob Zimmer.

The demonstrations will start on the hour at 7, 8, and 9 pm.

Polly Gilmore and her husband Chas have been with Akron Glass Works since it opened in 2006. Their distinctive style vessels are for sale in the AGW gallery.

Polly is also an accomplished fiber artist and for her “The act of creating art is a journey through past experiences into the present creative process. I am fortunate in that each medium I work in develops out of a former one.
