CUYAHOGA VALLEY ART CENTER’S FLORAL & LANDSCAPE EXHIBITION

This new exhibition encouraged artist submissions that were realistic and or abstracted portraying flowers, landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, and skylines, with all mediums being encouraged.  This juror of this exhibition (TBA) shall select the Best of Show, Second Place, Third Place and honorable mentions of this exhibition. A People’s Choice shall be held during this exhibition, with the winner receiving a $100 award to Cheap Joes Art Supplies, winner announced at the artist reception

This exhibition shall open to the public on Tuesday, July 30^th and run through September 19^th kicking off the People’s Choice selection process. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pieces, the winner receiving a $100 award to Cheap Joes Art Supplies. Awards will be distributed as the winners are celebrated during the Floral & Landscapes Exhibition reception on August 23^rd from 5:00-7:30 PM. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres and purchase art during this free reception.

JUROR BIOGRAPHY:

Jessica Loftus: Jessica Loftus is a 3rd generation painter, who grew up surrounded by traditional landscape painters in New Mexico. She has been holding a brush since she was 8 years old and has obtained her degree in painting from the University of Texas. She is the curator for Western Reserve Hospital & the Mustard Seed Cafe and has previous experience as an art juror.
