Join Akron Soul Train on Fridays to view the exhibition, free and open to the public.

Akron Soul Train is thrilled to be presenting Fluid Perspectives: LGBT Akron Arts Fest Juried Exhibition at Hive Mind from October 2nd – October 30th. Fluid Perspectives, juried by AST board member Arnold Tunstall, showcases an exciting array of works from a variety of LGBTQ+ artists working locally, regionally, and nationally. Exhibiting artists include: Seth Bedford, Brooke Ellen, Robert Fitzgerald, Cassandra Harner, Gary Holliday, Clare Kolat, Matt Lambert, Norman Mallard, MANDEM, Hannah McBroom, Keith March Mistler, Julie Nero, Jeremy Ondo, Charmaine Renee, Rowan Renee, Rigel Richardson, Danny Volk, and Samantha Wandtke.

To schedule a private viewing appointment, email Natalie at natalie@akronsoultrain.org. Artist reception will take place on Thursday, October 18th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, in which Best in Show pieces will be awarded and two local LGBTQ poets will do short poetry readings.

PARKING INFO

Guests may park in the large parking lot across the street from our venue. Artists may park in our lot to unload their equipment and/or artwork. Handicapped individuals may also park in our parking lot on the right (North) side of Exchange Street.
