Chestnut Ridge Park is hosting its second event of 2019: Free Akron Outdoor Movie: Karate Kid!

Friends of Chestnut Ridge Park, an Akron Parks Challenge recipient, is leveraging their new improvements to offer an event that is expected to bring expecting hundreds of visitors from all over the city to the Kenmore neighborhood in Akron, OH, on July 26, 2019 from 7:00 to 10:30 PM for this free, open-to-the-public event.

Families are encouraged to show up early to picnic and play on our new playground!
Beginning at 7:00 PM, children will have the opportunity to make their own karate headband with Amber Cullen Art. At 8:00PM, House of Kung Fu’s Travis Lee will conduct a martial arts demonstration.

Guests will settle in for the main event at 9:00 PM, as Free Akron Outdoor Movie screens Karate Kid in the amphitheater of Chestnut Ridge Park, which is located at 1926 19th Street SW in Akron’s Kenmore neighborhood.
