Glassblowing Workshops

Explore the magic of forming molten glass into a beautiful work of art! This experience is facilitated by Hale Farm’s expert glassblower; no experience is necessary. Participants are led step-by-step through the process of blowing, molding, and/or pulling glass as they create their own unique project. Projects offered change based on seasonality and availability–pulled flowers and glass paperweights are always included as standard options.

Students should dress in casual, comfortable clothing, suitable for the weather. Long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required. Finished items will be available for pick-up at the Market Place in the Gatehouse visitor center after cooling time, about one week from the workshop date.

PLEASE NOTE: Hale Farm & Village is currently open to the public during workshops and special events only–please be sure to make arrangements to pick up your projects before arriving at Hale Farm as public doors remain locked during regular business hours. Guests will be notified when projects are ready by the email used to purchase tickets.
