GroundWorks returns to EJ Thomas Hall for our Spring Performance Series in Akron

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, GroundWorks presents a world premiere by Cleveland native and internationally renowned choreographer Dianne McIntyre. Regarded as an artistic pioneer, with an impressive career spanning four decades with choreography for dance, theatre, television and film, Ms. McIntyre brings her individualistic style to GroundWorks in a dramatic new work.  Also on the program is audience favorite “Hindsight”, Lynne Taylor-Corbett’s homage to rock legend and Akron native Chrissie Hynde.  Created for GroundWorks in 2011, Hindsight pays tribute to the sounds and rhythms of the renowned English-American rock band The Pretenders.  Rounding out the program is “LUNA” by GroundWorks Artistic Director David Shimotakahara.
