GroundWorks' nextSPACE: Adult Creative Movement Class

Adult Creative Movement welcomes beginners, non-dancers, and movement enthusiasts looking to get outside and flex their muscles (physical and creative)! Participants will be eased into and guided through a warm up called Brain Dance, strategically created for non-dancers to center their brains and bodies for physical activity. Following Brain Dance, participants can expect to explore tools for uncovering movement possibilities and patterns built from their personal preferences and experiences. Class will conclude with a group discussion and reflection following a brief return to individual body and breath. There will be seated and standing options presented throughout the entire class. Class will take place outdoors on grass in a partially shaded area. Masks are required to be worn for the entirety of class (60 minutes) by all participants, please notify us of any concerns regarding masks prior to registration. Participants will be expected to comply with spatial distancing requirements on site as well. There will be no access to restrooms or a water fountain at the class location, please prepare accordingly.
