Guitar Building Workshop

Falls Rock Shop guitar building workshop! Participants will learn how to put together a guitar and then KEEP the guitar. Participants choose the body type, color, pickups, and much more! We will get parts only from our best suppliers. This will be a HIGH quality guitar with great parts. This is an all day Saturday event and we are enrolling participants now. Cost is $750.

The goal of the guitar-building workshop is for the participants to gain the skills necessary to build a guitar through personal experience. Participants will then walk away with a brand new guitar they built themselves!

-Students will gain skills such as soldering, wiring, assembling parts, bridge placement, fret maintenance, setting action, intonating, and stringing.
-Students will not be required to bring any tools.
-Students choose the following one month before class starts:
1) Body style: Strat, Tele
2) Body color: Vintage Clear, Black, Blue, Green, Sunburst, Red, White, Orange
3) Pick guard color: Black, White
4) Pickups: Standard, Vintage, Blues
5) Hardware: Black, Chrome, Gold (+$25)
6) Fretboard: Rosewood, Maple

-If you would like a specific color not listed here, please let us know and we will see if it is available.
-Body may be available in swamp ash or alder depending on color. We will offer you the option if available.
-Falls Rock Shop will provide body, neck, hardware, pickups, strings, and everything needed to build a complete guitar.
-Class will be held at Falls Rock Shop facility beginning at 8am and lasting until 5pm (or whenever class is completed) with a lunch break in between.
-Falls Rock Shop will provide lunch.
-A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of signup.
-Students must prepay the remaining amount in full one month in advance.

Our goal is for students to learn many guitar-building skills and take home a quality guitar that they made themselves. We want it to be a truly unique and rewarding experience
