Hiroshima was formed in 1974 by its Asian-American leader, Dan Kuramoto. Influenced by Earth, Wind and Fire, Hiroshima’s unique sounds of Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Pop are incorporated with Japanese instruments koto and taiko. Other instruments incorporated are the flute, keyboards, drums, and bass guitar.
