Buzz out to the Honey Harvest Festival celebrating bees, honey and other pollinators! Learn the importance of pollinators through live animal demonstrations, keeper talks, crafts and more.

Join the Akron Zoo this Honey Month, otherwise known as September! We are celebrating the importance of our pollinators such as honey bees. Join us for educational presentations from local bee and honey specialists, and shop honey themed merchandise from several booths around the zoo. Animal keepers will be discussing honey as a part of our animal’s diets and giving live feeding sessions (involving honey) across the park. There will also be honey themed crafts and activities, live entertainment, and animal encounters throughout the day.

The Akron Zoo is home to more than 700 animals from around the world. You’ve never been this close!

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
