Join The University of Akron’s Dr. Pamela Shultz to learn about the impact of incarceration on families.

Dr. Pamela Schulze reviews the research on the impact of incarceration on families, with a focus on the intersection of race and class.

A discussion on how race and class influence outcomes, both in the criminal justice system and in the family system. Programs and policy solutions will be discussed.

This event is part of The University of Akron’s Rethinking Race event series, a two-week forum of events focused on facilitating “courageous conversations designed to promote inclusive excellence” regarding race and race-related issues. Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend
