Introduction to Printmaking

Introduction to Printmaking, June 25th 10am-1pm. Design, carve, and print your own linocut block. Participants will learn how to transfer an image to their block, basics of carving linocut, and inking techniques to get beautiful prints! Class includes 3 hours of instruction, a handout reviewing material discussed, and usage of carving and printing tools to test and experiment with. Participants will leave with a carved block, up to 20 prints of their carved block, and knowledge to continue printmaking.
