A sit down with the artists who created this year’s winning works for the 16th Annual Kaleidoscope Holiday Show! Free. Audience participation welcomed.

The Kaleidoscope artists will gather for a free panel discussion led by juror David Rankin, on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 7-8 p.m. in the main gallery surrounded by the artwork. The event is free. Kaleidoscope is an area holiday tradition
The exhibition which runs until Dec. 29 is free and open to the public. This year’s juried exhibition, organized each year by the Alliance for the Visual Arts, includes 60 works submitted by 45 local artists.

Kaleidoscope was founded in 2003 by AVA which is the umbrella group of the four area arts organizations: Akron Society of Artists, Artists of Rubber City, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center and the Women’s Art League of Akron. More than 600 active members are eligible to compete in Kaleidoscope.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
