KenMore Kreative Wine Tasting with Nicola Comelli and Maria Mancinelli

Come support the arts in Kenmore at the fantastic Old 97 Cafe with a classy food paring, wine tasting and live entertainment by our talented youth!

This fundraiser is to support the work of KenMore Kreative, which was founded in early spring 2017. The mission of KenMore Kreative is to be a facilitator of arts awareness and involvement in the Kenmore community through programming that includes collaboration with professional artists, schools, and other arts organizations.
The major programs of KenMore Kreative are the KenMore Kreative Youth Theatre. Young Journalists, Film Experience, Community Building through Hip Hop and Permaculture Education,

The target population served by KenMore Kreative is the Kenmore neighborhood of Akron with programming that reaches beyond Kenmore and into neighboring urban areas as well. It targets the school aged population in Kenmore with the intent to raise cognitive achievement and emotional wellness among marginalized youth

The Old 97 Cafe will provide a delightful menu and tasting of Comelli Paolino Wines from the Fruili region of Italy.

Pasta with Pecorino cheese and Panchetta
Vegetable and Herb Frittata
Tiramisu
 
Charcuterie spread with fruits, cheeses, breads, crackers, anti pasta 
 
Nicola Comelli, as representative of the vineyard, will introduce the wines. Please join us for a at Kenmore’s historic Old 97 Cafe. http://www.theold97.com. Proceeds will go to support the services offered KenMore Kreative to support the arts in the Kenmore Neighborhood.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
