Celebrate inventor Jim Kirby with a scavenger hunt and a game of marbles at Richfield Heritage Preserve.
Join us Sunday, Sept. 15th from 1pm-5pm for some inter-generational fun! Letterbox treasure hunt to discover marbles hidden throughout Ohio’s Hidden Treasure™ Richfield Heritage Preserve. Once you find your marbles, return to Gund Hall to learn how to play. Friends of Crowell Hilaka for Richfield Heritage Preserve has partnered with the American Toy Marble Museum to host this event celebrating inventor Jim Kirby, marbles enthusiast, and his hydro-electric water wheel that is mounted on ball bearings and once provided electricity to his home and workshop found at the park.
Friends of Crowell Hilaka keepsakes and marble memorabilia for sale. Refreshments, including hotdogs, chips, drinks, and cookies, are available to benefit the restoration of Kirby’s Mill. Event held rain or shine.
