Kofi: Made In Akron Film Premiere Fundraiser

Getta Kutuchief and Nicole Mullet are thrilled to host a fundraiser for Kofi R. Boakye as he prepares to continue his education at Berklee College of Music in the fall of 2019. Kofi has set-up a a tax exempt 529 savings plan he has been contributing to and now we’re asking the community that has come alongside his work since he was 8 years old to rally a kid from Akron!

About the film:

Akron is known for creating the best of the best in all facets of life. From the industrial renaissance of the rubber tire industry, to 3x NBA Champion LeBron James, and Grammy Award-winning band “The Black Keys”, greatness is simply born in Akron. Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
