The library will close at its normal time of 6 pm and re-open for genealogists only from 6:30-10:30 pm.

Late Night at the Library for Genealogists

Join us in the Special Collections Division for our annual Late Night at the Library. The library will close at its normal time of 6 pm and re-open for genealogists only from 6:30-10:30 pm. Special Collections staff members and volunteers from the Summit County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will be available for research assistance. Representatives of the Cuyahoga Portage Chapter DAR and William Wetmore Chapter War of 1812 will provide consultation and membership information. A tour of the Special Collections Division and a mini “Getting Started in Family History” class will take place at 6:45.

Parking is free in the High & Market Street deck for those arriving after 6 pm. Refreshments will be provided, and all printing and copying charges will be waived.

Registration is not required, and all levels of genealogy expertise are welcome. For more information, please contact the Special Collections Division.
