"Levitation" by Timothy Mason

In this homecoming play, Joe, a struggling would-be playwright who is dissatisfied with his life and relationships in New York City, arrives at his parents’ Midwestern home in the early morning hours after a night of partying. Joe tries to open the locked door and is surprised by his father who has been sitting in the yard all night awaiting a meteor shower. As other friends and family members arrive to watch the galactic display, Joe’s memories and concepts about relationships, life, and death are challenged.
