Lil' Loaves (A Youth Showcase Showdown)

A bite-sized version of Wandering Aesthetics’ Bigger Than A Breadbox, Lil’ Loaves (A Youth Showcase Showdown) is an annual talent showcase for performers ages 18 & under to be held at The Center on Friday, January 31st at 7 PM.

The evening will feature a wide array of youthful artistic talent and culminate in two performers being awarded prizes.

THE PERFORMERS

The Nomads (Band)
The Nomads are a pop/rock band from The Hudson School of Music under the direction of their band coach, Jeremy Jones. Members of the band include, Ella Bozan (11) lead singer, Nolan Diehl (12) drummer, Gavin Bozan (13) guitarist, and Mira Zamarro (14) pianist. They have been together for just over two years and have entertained crowds at events such as Akron’s PorchRokr, Signal Tree and Big Love Festivals, the Akron Rubber Ducks games, Stan Hewitt Hall & Gardens, “Rock for A Good Cause” at Jilly’s Music Room, Gardener of Bath’s Art Fest, the Countryside Conservancy Market and Hudson’s Ice Cream Social on The Green, just to name a few.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
