Become part of the art as the galleries recreate famous artworks using real people. Living Art is an interactive, hands on event! Lots of fun for everyone with plenty of photo ops.
You are invited – encouraged even – to come dressed as your favorite ART or ARTIST! Bob Ross, van Gogh, Picasso, Banksy, Pollock, Cassatt, Kusama – who is YOUR favorite?
On Friday, August 10, from 5:30-8:30pm, visit:
- The Red Twig, 5202 Darrow Road, and Standing Rock Gallery, 5194 Darrow Road, will recreate “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” by Georges Seurat.
- Uncommon Art, 178½ N. Main Street (2nd Floor), will transform into Andy Warhol’s Factory and offer a printmaking activity.
- Hudson Fine Art & Framing, 160 N. Main Street, will give visitors the opportunity to become part of “Christina’s World” by Andrew Wyeth.
- Fair Trade on Main, 134 N. Main Street, will be inspired by “Moulin de la Galette” by Pierre-August Renoir, as well as show colorful artwork by contemporary artist John Robert
