Luck Charms

Presented by Akron Soul Train at Akron Soul Train, Akron OH

Feb 12 2023
Luck Charms

Join Akron Soul Train resident artist, Jennifer Whitten for this FREE workshop about making our “lucky charms” even more unique!

The history of lucky objects is rich and full of lore. So many people carry around a rabbit’s foot for good luck or maybe even have a cool rock they found one day and have held onto ever since. Artist Jennifer Whitten explores the power we give these lucky charms. Participants can bring an object they see as lucky (palm size or smaller) and recreate it or embellish it with decoration. Don’t have a lucky object? This is a great time to make your own luck! This workshop is free and open for all and great for families!
