Music Careers Day

This year’s Music Careers Day will be held on Monday, October 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Guzzetta Recital Hall.  Please join us to learn about The University of Akron and how to prepare for a career in the music profession.

This year’s Music Careers Day will be held on Monday, October 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Guzzetta Recital Hall.  Please join us to learn about The University of Akron and how to prepare for a career in the music profession. Activities for the day include talking with faculty, students and alumni, touring campus, rehearsing with University ensembles, and learning about the admissions process.  

 

Music Careers Day is free, fun, and informative for high school students and parents.  Complimentary lunch is included for students.

PARKING INFO

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
