On June 15th, The Bluff Blue Door Gallery will host Nathan Prebonick taking a look at what he has been up to since graduation from The University of Akron. A recent Painting & Drawing BFA recipient of The Myers School of Art, this will be his last solo show in Akron before he leaves for graduate school at RISD! The show is made up of paintings that emphasize color, points of view and edges to question how ways of seeing relate to ways of thinking. Given the confined space of the Bluff Blue Door Gallery, Nathan experiments with viewing proximity by creating close-up and far-away paintings. How does one’s space from a painting correlate with the space represented in each painting?
