The 7th annual North East Ohio Keyboard Festival will be held from September 12-15, with concerts and masterclasses at The University of Akron and Youngstown State University.
The 7th annual North East Ohio Keyboard Festival will be held from September 12-15, with concerts and masterclasses at The University of Akron and Youngstown State University. The festival will feature special guest Italian pianist and Steinway artist Emanuela Frisconi.
The opening concert will be held on Sunday, September 12 at 3 p.m. in Guzzetta Hall. Frisconi teams up with YSU’s Caroline Oltmanns and UA faculty James Wilding and Mayumi Kikuchi. The program will include works for solo piano, duets, and eight hands on two pianos. Music by Dvórak, Khachaturian, Ravel, Piazzolla, and more.

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
