North Hill Monthly Meeting

Presented by Exchange House Akron at Exchange House Akron, Akron OH

Jan 09 2019
North Hill Monthly Meeting

In culminating the North Hill Listening Project, the Community Dialogue (held at Patterson Park Community Center in October) led to the idea of creating a neighborhood hub that could help facilitate communication cross-culturally. On December 4, members from the Akron community came together to follow-up about this conversation at the Exchange House.

We’ve decided collectively that North Hill needs a monthly space to share resources, make new connections, and keep up to date with all of the organizations and individuals who are active in the neighborhood.

All are invited on Wednesday, January 9 at 6 p.m. to join us at the Exchange House (760 Elma St, Akron) as we meet to network, plan, and participate in Community Market Place game (offer-request-declare).

We will be building our list of assets by referring to Refugee Health Task Force’s list of resources, International Institute’s map of the business district, and other city-wide resources such as the Street Card and 211.
