Travel with artist Lizzi Aronhalt to the neighborhoods she knows in Akron. Show opening is Friday, July 13, 5-8 pm. Free and open to the public.

See painter Lizzi Aronhalt’s latest cityscapes at the opening of her new show,  Neighborhoods I Knowin the Transition Gallery at Summit Artspace on East Market on Friday, July 13, 2018, 5-8 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

An Akron native, Aronhalt has found a niche in her vibrant and colorful cityscape paintings. Ranging in subject matter from ice cream stands to taco trucks to full on city skylines, her work has a lively and almost musical quality.

Lizzi’s art will be on display from July 13 to August 18, 2018 in the Transition Gallery. Free and open to the public.

Aronhalt’s paintings quickly communicate her love for lines and colors and an appreciation of the architectonic qualities that are found in the urban landscape. Abstract and full of details, Aronhalt’s works always communicate a sense of joy and liveliness.
