Singers Companye directed by Dr. Samuel Gordon

“A Thousand Beautiful Things”

The Singers Companye is the umbrella organization that sponsors five choral ensembles and a chamber opera company. The name is also used for the primary choir of about 50 singers that consists of choral directors, music teachers and singers from  Ohio. hearing them performs is a thrilling experience.

this program explores our sensibilities to the world in which we live as we struggle to see it in new and beautiful ways. Take a journey from rarely performed Baroque and Classical masterpieces to stunning choral works by some of America’s most forward-thinking composer/arrangers. To top it off we will premiere Songs of Peace for voices and string quintet by Linda Rice Beck- You’ll be engaged!
