PechaKucha Akron Volume 4

PechaKucha Akron, Volume 4 is officially a thing! Remember, PechaKucha can be conceptualized as a series of mini-TED-like talks, but on a Friday night with beer. The speakers come from all different disciplines, including art, science, literature, music, and the like. The format is “rapid-fire PowerPoint,” whereby each presenter speaks for exactly 20 seconds about 20 slides, so each presentation lasts just under seven minutes.

Mark your calendars for Friday, August 5th. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the event lasts from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. We’ll be heading to The Tangier for our fourth installation. The event is free, but a $5 donation is suggested to support our operations. There will be heavy appetizers and a cash bar.
