Pete’s music encompasses a wide variety of musical styles and genres: straight-ahead, post-bop, avant-garde, Latin, jazz-rock fusion. He’s performed throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe from clubs to jazz festivals, musicals, award shows, and even an opera.

McCann received his Bachelors of Music degree from the University of North Texas and also studied at the Banff School of the Arts. He currently serves as adjunct faculty guitar teacher at both The New School and City College in New York City, and also teaches at the Maine Jazz Camp.
