Dawn Revisited - Freedom Trail mural for Art Bomb Brigade

Muralist Training Program dates and application available!

Schedule: Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m – 8:30 p.m. on Zoom
Dates: January 10, 17, 21, 31 & February 7, 14, 21, 25, 2023
Bonus in-person production session on Saturday, February 25, 2023, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

This application-based opportunity is subsidized by other training offered by the Mural Arts Institute with the goal of building the capacity of artists in Philadelphia. The fee to participate is $250 for local BIPOC artists, $500 for other local artists, $2,000 for non-local artists. Scholarships are available upon request and a childcare stipend is available for the in-person session on Saturday, February 25.

All participants will receive a small trial-set of mural-making supplies.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
