Photographs & Memories- A 'Guess the Song' Photo Exhibit by artist Kay Phelps

This is not your average photography exhibit! Every photo featured in this show visually describes a song. Viewers should be able to tell what the song is just by looking at the picture. The songs included span genres and decades, but are all well known songs- this isn’t a deep dive into anyone’s obscure vinyl collection.
Guests who can correctly name all the songs featured (without google) during the opening reception will be entered to win one of the limited edition prints.
Opening reception is September 2, 2022 from 6-9pm. Photos will be on display through October 30. Free to attend!
A show literally years in the making, Photographs and Memories combines artist and Up Front Art Space owner, Kay Phelps’s, love of music with her love of trivia & puzzles and her lifelong love of photography.
Kay is a professional photographer and artist from Kent, OH. She opened Up Front Art Space in 2019. Texture and detail are at the forefront of Kay’s photography. While the subject matter varies from urban cityscapes to landscapes and everything in between, detail, composition, texture and lighting are used to bring her subjects to life.
