Psychology Film Club - Get Out

Join us on Facebook Live for a discussion of Jordan Peele’s Academy Award-winning film Get Out (2017).

Psychology Film Club explores depictions of psychology, psychiatry, and mental health in pop culture, gathering a panel of experts from the field to discuss popular films. On Thursday, February 18th at 7:00pm ET, we’ll be discussing the film Get Out on Facebook Live. The film follows Chris, a young African American man who visits the home of his white girlfriend’s parents and discovers that their uncomfortable behaviors mask sinister intent. We will be covering the film in the context of social identity and the field of Black psychology.

Get Out is currently available to stream via FX On Demand (with a live TV provider) and to rent or purchase via YouTube, Google Play, Amazon Prime, and iTunes.
