Experience classical re-imaginings of Queen, Bill Withers, and Daft Punk — plus Bach and Bizet — when Akron’s Tuesday Musical presents Nu Deco, Miami’s sizzling orchestra.
The New York Times hails Nu Deco as a “chamber orchestra for the 21st century.” Billboard calls it “sonically spellbinding” and Saratoga Living describes it as “fiery, captivating and refreshingly original.”
Founded in 2015 by Jacomo Bairos and Sam Hyken, Nu Deco is an innovative hybrid orchestra known for creating high-energy and genre-bending musical experiences. Recent collaborators include Macy Gray, Ben Folds, Jacob Collier, Kimbra, Kishi Bashi, Time for Three, Danay Suarez, Cory Henry, Stephen Marley, Emily King, Bilal, Luke James and other award-winning composers and cross-over artists.
