ReelAbilities Film Festival: Inclusion

ReelAbilities Film Festival is the largest film festival in the U.S. dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. Through a collaboration of local organizations, including community volunteers, the ReelAbilities Film Festival: Cleveland will showcase films at venues throughout Northeast Ohio, including two days in Akron. 

The Library is wheelchair accessible and welcomes service animals. Parking is free in the High/Market deck on weekends; attendee drop-off is possible at the Library’s High Street entrance.

Film festival sponsors include: The Up Side of Downs, ADA Cleveland, Piece by Peace, Youth Challenge, Summit DD, Akron-Summit County Public Library.

RAFF: Cleveland is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at each screening. Locations are wheelchair accessible, welcome service animals, and offer open captioning. Additional accommodations such as audio description or American Sign Language interpreters may be requested two weeks prior to any film event.
