ReelAbilities Film Festival is the largest film festival in the U.S. dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. Through a collaboration of local organizations, including community volunteers, the ReelAbilities Film Festival: Cleveland will showcase films at venues throughout Northeast Ohio, including two days in Akron. 

The Library is wheelchair accessible and welcomes service animals. Parking is free in the High/Market deck on weekends; attendee drop-off is possible at the Library’s High Street entrance.

Film festival sponsors include: The Up Side of Downs, ADA Cleveland, Piece by Peace, Youth Challenge, Summit DD, Akron-Summit County Public Library.
