Reworks Art Project

November 2nd-4th @ Summit Artspace. Artists will be producing work on location from 9am to 8pm. Come say hi and see the works-in-progress. Then come back to see the finished products at the Akron Artwalk Saturday November 7th!

Thirteen local artists have been selected to participate in the ReWorks discarded latex paint art project. Artists will display artwork created with discarded latex paint at Summit Artspace in the Project Gallery on Saturday, November 7 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. By supporting artists who work with recycled materials, ReWorks hopes to encourage people to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials and promote new ways of thinking about art and the environment.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
