Single Reed Day

Join us on Sunday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Single Reed Day, an interactive experience. 

Join us on Sunday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Single Reed Day, an interactive experience.  Guest artists I-Chen Yeh, Jeffrey Kessler, David Gould, and Christopher Pell join UA faculty Stanislav Golovin, Todd Gaffke, Christopher Coles, Theron Brown, and Helena Kim.

Single Reed Day includes preparation for college auditions, rehearsals, clinic sessions, presentations, vendors, and recitals featuring guest artists and UA faculty.  There will also be concerts featuring UA student ensembles.

Sponsored by the Northeast Ohio Clarinet Association and the Akron Saxophone Association, with funding provided by UA student government in conjunction with the UA Undergraduate Student Government and the UA School of Music.

PARKING INFO

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
