Sister Act is based on the 1992 motion picture starring Whoopi Goldberg. When nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she ends up in protective custody in a place she never imagined: a convent. Posing as a nun, Deloris’s disco style aggravates Mother Superior but injects new life and energy into the church and community.
