On Saturday, August 19th, from 11-2 pm, Akron Art Museum is hosting a Teacher Resource Fair for K-12 teachers. This carnival-style open house will feature tables and information from family support agencies, educational supply vendors, and community arts and culture groups. Teachers will get the chance to learn more about the Museum’s K-12 school tour program and free online resources.
Guests will beat the heat in our lobby, playing games to win prizes for their classroom, making art, exploring the galleries, and learning about upcoming exhibitions. This program is free and open to all teachers and educators in Summit and the surrounding counties. The event is designed to be a fun way to kick off the new school year and share information about the wonderful resources available in Northeast Ohio.
The first one hundred registrants will receive a free goodie bag.
